Meet the Pastor
PARHAM

Pastor Andrae Parham was born the sixth of seven children to Willie S. Parham and Bettie L. Parham in Bolivar, Tennessee. He has been employed as an Electrical Designer for eighteen years and is now employed with Canup Engineering, Inc. since July 2006.

He grew up in the church all his life. As a child, he attended Clover Garden CME Church, Whiteville, TN, and Fayette Corner COGIC, Somerville, TN. As a youth, Elder Parham served in the sanctuary choir, the youth choir, as a Jr. deacon, as a Jr. usher, and assisted wherever needed. Elder Parham gave his life to the Lord, received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and continued to serve under the leadership of Pastor Eddie Jenkins, Sr. He accepted his call to the ministry in 2006 and became an ordained elder in 2010 in the Tennessee Central Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction under Bishop Brandon B. Porter.

Elder Parham continued to serve his local church, Fayette Corner COGIC, and was appointed YPWW president, then Youth Pastor, where he continued to serve faithfully. He served the Bolivar District as YPWW president for five years and was then appointed as Vice President and subsequently President of the youth department of Tennessee Central Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, where he served for five years.

Elder Andrae J. Parham and Marsena G. Parham have been married for twenty years and have four lovely, talented children: Andreas, Michaela, Aeneas, and Amari.

Elder Andrae Parham was appointed Pastor of Community COGIC, Maury City, in October 2018. Since then, he has served tirelessly, praying for and ministering to the people of Maury City Community COGIC as well as the Maury City community. God has allowed him to lead the renovation of the worship edifice and lead the congregation through a pandemic declaring victory over sickness, sin & satan. Pastor Parham is yet encouraging the people of God to be steadfast and remain faithful to the work of the Lord by example.
