Marsena Gabrielle Parham was born the third of five children to Eddie L. Jenkins, Sr. and Martha A. Jenkins on March 18, 1979. She is a product of the Memphis City School System and loved academics from an early age. She attended Sheffield Elementary School, John P. Freeman Optional School, and graduated with an Honors Diploma from Memphis Central High School. She attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She also received a diploma in Nursing from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology, Memphis, and works currently in-Home Health as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

She married her teen and college sweetheart, Andrae J. Parham, soon after graduating college. They’re raising four beautiful, blessed, and talented children: Andreas, Michaela, Aeneas, and Amari.

She is COGIC born and was raised at the Temple Church of God in Christ in Memphis, TN., and has served in the church from the Sunshine Band and Purity Class from childhood until now. She has served as a Junior Usher and as a choir member in the local, district, and state choirs. She has also served as a Hospitality Committee member, Assistant Big Sister Sunshine and Big Sister Sunshine of the Sunshine Band of Fayette Corner COGIC, President of the Bolivar District Sunshine Band, and worked with the Youth Department of Tennessee Central Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction in various capacities. Marsena is the proud First Lady of the Community COGIC, Maury City, and Director of the Women’s Ministry under the leadership of Pastor Andrae Parham.

Lady Marsena is the fragrance of Community Church Maury City, but she's most honored to be called to nurture a family of visionaries alongside her teen/college crush, Pastor Andrae Parham.
